Taitung & Gangshan

October 15, 2019

In the morning we took a seat on the roof of the Taitung Sea Wall Homestay where we spent the night
This new hotel offers a nice view of a large part of the runway of the Taitung base, but it takes some mm’s to take decent photos.
Around noon the sun turned too far and it was time to descend to Gangshan.

Mm’s used (full frame): 310mm (Fokker 50) to 600mm (F-5s)

Gangshan AFB

Upon our arrival in Gangshan we immediately looked up a place to be able to photograph some incoming AT-3’s.

Mm’s used (full frame): 600mm (AT-3’s)

Gangshan Air Force Museum

After these arrivals, we have entered the aircraft museum of Gangshan which is not far from the Air Force Academy.
